I rescently came across a very interesting new tea gadget. It is the Taylor Tea Thermometer and Timer (I am in no way affiliated with this company or website). This device makes tea brewing quite a bit easier. First off, it allows you to bring the water for your tea to the perfect temperature. And the second great feature is that it has a timer, so that you can brew the tea for the perfect amount of time. When the tea has enfused for the appropriate time period the device will make a sound and you will know it is done. Perhaps my favorite feature is that the Taylor Tea Thermometer has preset temperature and steeping times for white, green, black, puerh, oolong, Darjeeling and herbal teas.
