I am still recently inexperienced in the world of Gourmet Tea. Although I have always loved tea, I usually just use tea bags. So the other day, I discovered a new world. The world of loose Leaf tea. Loose leaf tea has distinguishably superior taste to that of tea bags, and anyone who has yet to try loose leaf tea should definitely do so. Some people think brewing loose leaf tea is a pain, and will take too much work…

But, I was actually surprised to learn how easy it is. The only thing I had to purchase to brew my loose leaf green tea was a tea a little metal ball with holes, I guess a filter of sorts. I added the tea to this ball and simply dropped it in some 180 degree water. The filter kept the teas leaves from the actual tea and I could just pull it out when done. A little more work was needed (then to brew a tea bag), but the superior quality and taste definitely made it worth it.

I simply used a metal pan to heat up the water, but I think a tea pot would make it easier. I am looking forward to make a purchase of a tea pot, if any one has any suggestions leave a comment!
